Make fast gold – some might say this is a tall order.  But it’s really not so bad if you simply make a plan and dig in.  But it’s got to be a quick plan, after all, since speed is the goal.  Maybe you just got a sweet new piece of gear that needs gems, or you’re trying to get an enchant up on that shiny new weapon.  Whatever it is, the point is you probably don’t want to wait for money to slowly come in; you want it now!

The best bet to get some cash in the shortest time possible is to combine a few different techniques.  There aren’t enough dailies that are easy to complete to count as serious dough.  And if you farm a bunch of items that require selling, that probably won’t happen all at once either.  Of course killing mobs for cash directly delivers results right now, but it’s hard to find things to kill that actually pay enough to make it worth it.

In order to pull together a stack of cash in a hurry, you need to do things in the proper order.  Those things that take the longest need to be done first.  For instance, if you’re going to farm motes to sell primals, you’d want start there.  That way you can get the farming done, get the primals listed on the auction house and move on to other things.  While the auction house is working on selling your items for you, you’re doing something else to pull in more dough.

The next important thing is to combine farming multiple items.  If you have a gathering profession, for instance, don’t just pick somewhere with abundant resources.  You need to choose a location that lets you complete a few dailies and also do your mining or herbing.  Or choose a spot for your dailies that has great mobs to farm.  That way while you’re going from place to place, objective to objective, you can kill high-value mobs that there may not be enough of (or too much competition) to kill exclusively.

By the time you finish up a handful of the fastest, easiest dailies, head back into town and sell your gray items, and swing by the mailbox to pick up the money from the items you sold on the auction house, you should be sitting on a sizable pile of gold.  That’s how you make fast gold.
