Daily PVP Quest – A Good Way to Get Honor

Your rating: None Average: 2 (2 votes)

If you need to earn some honor for gear in World of Warcraft, the daily pvp quest is a great place to start.  After all, you’re going to be doing the battlegrounds anyway, you might as well be picking up some bonus honor while you’re at it.

The Daily PVP Quest is a little bit different than the rest of the dailies.  For a normal daily, you just go to the quest giver, grab the quest, finish it up, and then turn it in.   Once the daily timer has reset you rinse and repeat.  With the PVP quests though, there is one for each battleground but only one is given out per day.

They aren’t on a set schedule, so you don’t know when the quest you want will be coming up.  It could be Alterac Valley two days in a row, three days in a row, or even more.  On the other hand, you might be hoping for Alterac Valley and instead the quest giver is offering Warsong Gulch.  Then the next day it’s Arathi Basin.  And then back to Warsong Gulch.  Sometimes you can wait a week and never get the one you’re hoping for.

Either way, it’s generally worth it to do whatever quest is on the daily unless you know that your battlegroup just can’t win that particular battleground.  Even if you don’t like it very well, the bonus honor that is added onto what you’d normally get is pretty significant.  It can double what you earn from the battleground, or in some cases add even more than that.

If you’re grinding honor in a major way, it’s worth it merely to give yourself some variety and pick up a few hundred extra points.  If you’re casually grinding, it’s even more worth it because it will be a significant portion of the daily honor you are earning.  The daily pvp quest is a no-brainer in almost every case if you need honor.
